고심 끝에 오늘부로 국가대테러센터 (NCTC) 소장직에서 사임하기로 결정했습니다.
저는 양심상 이란과의 전쟁을 지지할 수 없습니다. 이란은 우리나라에 급박한 위협을 가하지 않았으며, 이 전쟁은 이스라엘과 미국 로비 압력 때문에 시작된 것이 분명합니다.
NCTC의 전문가들을 이끌 수 있었던 것은 영광이었습니다.

After much reflection, I have decided to resign from my position as Director of the National Counterterrorism Center, effective today.
I cannot in good conscience support the ongoing war in Iran. Iran posed no imminent threat to our nation, and it is clear that we started this war due to pressure from Israel and its powerful American lobby.
It has been an honor serving under @POTUS and @DNIGabbard and leading the professionals at NCTC.
