JACKIE | (hugs Ben) Did you have a good day? |
BEN | Yeah. |
JACKIE | Well, you are one lucky boy, because guess what. |
You get to watch a tape tonight.
I'm going out. Colleen's babysitting.
BEN | Yeah, Cool! |
JACKIE | And you are wearing makeup? |
ANNA | lsabelle gave it to me. |
ESABELLE | No, she just put a little on in the car playing around. |
JACKIE | You don't usually see that color in the afternoon, except on working girls. |
Anyway, wash your face because you and I are going out in ten minutes.
ANNA | On a school night? |
(Jackie shows concert ticket) Pearl Jam?
Oh, mom! you are the coolest!
JACKIE | You only live once, right? |
ANNA | Isn't my mom the coolest? |
JACKIE | It was a great idea. Thanks. |
ESABELLE | (gets upset) Have fun. |
#30. In the hospotal
DOCTOR | Chemotherapy. There's a day's dose stored here. |
This is a portable I.V. FeeI it.
JACKIE | It's pretty light. |
DOCTOR | Yeah, nice and slim. |
You can wear it everywhere. Play tennis, jogging.
You can hide it under your clothes.
JACKIE | That's cool. Side effects? |
DOCTOR | Some days you'll experience drowsiness, nausea. |
And then other days you'll feel perfectly fine.
JACKIE | Am I gonna lose my hair? |
DOCTOR | Maybe, maybe not. It varies with each person. |
JACKIE | Let's do it. |
DOCTOR | Good. |
JACKIE | When? |
DOCTOR | I'm available tomorrow evening. |
JACKIE | Tomorrow evening's bad. |
It's spaghetti and meatball night. Ben really looks forward...
Okay, tomorrow's good. Fine. |
