관계사 문제입니다.

정답은 2,5,8 번이래요.
자세한 설명 부탁드립니다. 문장이 좀 깁니다.


괄호안 관계사 중 생략이 가능한 것을 모두 고르시요.

Tai Dong,  ①.( where） I grew up, is a small city on the southeast coast of

Taiwan. My family moved there from Taipei the summer ② (when）I was born. I

관게사의 생략은 목적격과, 주격 관대 be동사이고 제한적 용법일때 생략불가하고, 관계사앞으로 전치사가 왔을때 물가능합니다.제가 보기에는 2,7번 좀 이상합니다, 요거는 아무래도 토익 카페에 올리시면 즉각올라옵니다,,,일부는 그냥 공식인데,,2,7번은,,

Taiwan. ==> Comma (,) 뒤에 쓰인 관계부사 where 맞고요, 소위 말하는 계속적 용법이라 생략불가능합니다.

My family moved there from Taipei the summer ② (when）I was born.
==> 우선 the summer 앞에 in 정도의 전치사가 있어야 문장이 성립합니다. 문제는 Taipei를 where I was born으로 꾸미는 것인지 the summer를 when I was born으로 꾸미는 것인지가 ambiguous(모호한)하다는 것입니다. 두가지 경우 모두 생략은 가능하나 의미를 명확히 하려면 when 혹은 where를 명시해주는게 좋습니다.

I don`t remember our first house, ③ (which ）we rented from a relative,
==> comma (,) 뒤에 오고 있고 뒤의 rented의 목적어로 쓰인 계속적 용법의 목적격 관계대명사이기에 생략불가능.

but when I was two, we moved to the house ④( that） I grew up in.
==> 뒤에 오는 in의 목적어로 쓰인 제한적 용법으로 쓰인 목적격 관계대명사이기에 생략가능합니다.

This house ⑤ (where） my arents still live in is on a main street in Tai Dong.
==> 뒤에 오는 in의 목적어로 쓰인 제한적 용법의 목적격 관계대명사 which가 와야하고 생략가능합니다.

To me,this was the best lace in the world. My mother had a food stand in our front courtyard ⑥( where ）she sold omelettes early in the morning.
==> 앞서 2번과 같은 경우로서 여기서는 food stand와 courtyard중의 어느 것을 수식하는 지가 ambiguous하더라도 모두 장소를 나타내므로 where를 생략해도 추가적인 의미상의 혼동을 야기하지 않기에 생략해도 상관없슴.

All her custom ⑦(whom）I always chatted whit were very friendly to me.
==> 뒤에 오는 전치사 whit (with)의 목적어인 제한적 용법의 목적격 관계대명사로서 생략가능합니다.

On the first floor, my father conducted his tea business in the front room. After school, I always went straight to the corner ⑧. (where） he sat drinking tea with his customers.
==> ⑧. 번호뒤의 period(마침표)가 typo(typing error)라면 생략가능하겠지만, 아니라면 comma(,) 뒤에 오는 계속적 용법의 관계부사로서 생략불가능.

In the back was our huge kitchen with its stone floor and brick over. I loved dinnertime because the kitchen was always full of relatives and the customers ⑨(that ）my father had invited to dinner. It was a fun and noisy place to be.
