Social & Personal Awareness :
Max is a quick learner and is able to work independently with little encouragement. He understands and follows most of the rules of the classroom, although he sometimes needs some redirection to stay on task as he is a little restless at times. He shares and takes turns without reminder and cooperates well with the other students. He never shies from expressing himself, and does so when the situation arises. Max shows respect for his fellow students and for the teachers.

English Skills :
The listening skills of the students are improving through group and individual story times and they are asked comprehension questions to assess their level of understanding. Instructions are given verbally to encourage their listening skills to continue to progress.
The children must use specific full sentences throughout class when dealing with the teacher and eash other in certain scenarios. They are encouraged individually and in a large group to speak in a loud, clear voice.
We are working on small word and letter recognition in our weekly activities and during our story time as a pre-rading program.
Through our pre-writing warm up each Saturday, students are getting more practice using their fine motor skills. Many of our weekly centers also include a writing component, and writing numbers and letters are progressing accordingly.
Max sometimes has to be told instructions a few times because he does not always listen the first time. One on one, he understands instructions and is able to ask for clarification when he needs it. Max speaks in a loud, clear voice and is able to repeat sentences or words used in English throughout class. Max is fine motor skill are progressing, and he corrects his own mistakes without assistance during our warm ups.

Mathematics :
This term's math review and lessons have been centered on the weekly theme as integrated lessons.
As an entry warm up, students sort and classify to identify similarities and differences of given objects in the class. The students have worked on counting aloud, and writing numbers up to 100 by 1's and 2's.
Recently, students have been introduced to ordering, dice recognition, probability and graphing.
The children reviewed recognition of different colours and shapes through listening exercises without models. We have reviewed the concept of AB, ABA, and ABC patterns and variations.
Max is written numerals are excelling. he is able to comlplete patterns without assistance and is usually one of the first to complete math exercises.

그리고 마지막부분에 Max가 도움없이도 자기발음을 잘 교정한다는건지..

1.(although he sometimes needs some redirection to stay on task as he is a little restless at times.)가끔 가만있지 않아서 할 일에 대해 다시 말해줄 필요가있다...즉, 가끔 지시사항을 다시 말해줘야 한다...stay on task가 아마도 어떤 지시사항을 제대로 하기위함이라는 뜻 같네요.
2.너무 크게 소리낸다기 보다는 (좋은 뜻에서)큰 소리로 똑똑히 말한다는 것 같습니다.
그리고 말씀하신대로 스스로 틀린 발음을 교정한다는 거네요.
